I met Mariela through my best friend who gets her hair done by her. When Taylor asked if I was up for a destination elopement, I may have screamed. When she told me the location, I almost died with the thought that I could possibly be photographing an elopement across the country at one of the most beautiful places I have seen! 

I was so excited to meet this adventurous couple who completely made my YEAR by allowing me to photograph their special moment on a mountain top. We met for the first time in the heart of Old Town Alexandria for their engagement session. Of course, rain was in the forecast but being the adventurers they are, I knew they were up for this rain or shine! I had so much fun walking the streets of Old Town Alexandria with these two. I enjoyed hearing their love story, gathering all details for their epic elopement, and capturing the genuine love between each other! Here are just a few of my favorites!
