Winter Engagement Session at Fredericksburg Battlefield
When Shannon emailed me wanting to wait to do her engagement session for when it snows, I was jumping for joy! I LOVE the snow. It’s beautiful, photographs well, and is timeless in my opinion! There is something about winter that completely speaks to me that makes my heart very happy! So we waited the winter season out praying for snow! If you know Northern Virginia, the past few years we have not been blessed with a cold winter to bring in the dreamy snow! The wait continued until APRIL. APRIL!!! The time when the cherry blossoms are supposed to be in full bloom.
We settled on photographing their engagement session at Fredericksburg Battlefield in Fredericksburg, VA. It was local and the roads were horrible! The snow was more of a sleet vs snowflakes and I am so thankful that when we arrived, that sleet turned into the perfect snowflakes to give Shannon the engagement session of her dreams!
I went to high school with Shannon and Brandon. Shannon and I also played field hockey together in middle school! Brandon and I have been on a snowboarding trip together before, too! Little did I know I would be photographing their wedding!!! I am so happy for these two! Their engagement session was a dream! Enjoy some of my faves from their engagement session!!!
