RJ’s mom emailed me wanting me to photograph her son and future daughter-in-law’s wedding! I have known the Ramsey family for quite some time now and I am so thrilled and honored to be sharing their wedding day with them! We had a tiny window of when we could officially meet each other for their engagement session. I am so thankful we were able to set a date that worked for both of us! We chose Manassas Battlefield for their engagement session location since they both love the rustic, open fields, and mountain views! Although, Manassas Battlefield has a tiny one, it was still so doable!
As soon, as we met at their session, it felt like I have known these two as a couple for YEARS! They are both so kind hearted and insanely in love with one another!! We probably picked the coldest day of the year…I mean, it was probably 35 degrees with a wind chill of about 22 degrees!! Engagement sessions normally last 90ish minutes but we managed to get it done in under an hour! Maddie’s fingers were turning red, RJ’s ears were red, and my hands were so numb I could barely operate my camera!!! Maddie + RJ even did jumping jacks in between photos to keep warm! Such trooper! So, we hustled and got it done!
I am so beyond excited to be photographing their wedding next year at Brandy Hill Farm! Another venue on my dream list! Woohoo! Enjoy some of my favorites from their session!
Y’all just don’t even want to know why they are laughing in the photo on the right!
I’m obsessed with Maddie’s hair! Look at those curls!
Gotta make the best of the situation, hahah!
I just can’t with these two. Seriously…MODELS!
If you can’t tell…look at the grass! The grass is almost sideways!!! That’s how tough the wind was!
Manassas Battlefield, you were so good to us!!!
