Okay, can I just say I absolutely love these two?! From the initial email to meeting them recently at their engagement session, they are definitely a Courtney Morgan couple! Sam + Cody have such a powerful connection between one another and my lord, it definitely showed in pictures! In her initial email, she told me they were moving and needed a photographer who had a great personality and someone they can trust since they are moving to Colorado!! I promised her all of those things and we totally kicked it off! We decided to have their engagement session in Old Town Alexandria since it was close to their home and they are true city lovers at heart! We had the tiniest window to get their session done since they were moving sooner rather than later. I am so glad we were able to find a day that worked for both of us!

However, the weather was so iffy this day!! It was down pouring the morning of their session and there was questions if we should stick to it or reschedule! With our schedules being extremely busy, we decided to stick to it and embrace the rain! Thankfully, it held off until we were done!! They even brought their pooch along! If you don’t know, I am a total dog lover. If I could own every single dog on this planet, I would!

We met at the Carlyle House in the heart of Old Town Alexandria and began our walk around the block to find the best locations! Hearing all of their wedding details, I just know it’s going to be an amazing day for this amazing couple! They deserve everything that is in store for this day, even if they are halfway across the country planning it! I just love these two and CANNOT wait to celebrate their big day with them!
